Melitron Certified to ISO 9001:2015 Standard for Quality and Customer Satisfaction

Melitron Corporation, a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of metal enclosures and electro-mechanical systems, has successfully achieved certification to the international ISO 9001:2015 standard for quality management, demonstrating its ability to meet the needs of global customers across a range of industries, including communications, energy, entertainment, healthcare, industrial, restaurant, retail, security and transportation.

Established by the International Organization for Standardization, the ISO 9001 standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

As a full service manufacturer, Melitron certified its end-to-end services offering, including product conceptualization, prototyping and new product introduction through to production manufacturing, electro-mechanical systems integration, and global delivery.

Melitron first received ISO 9001 certification in 1998. The latest ISO 9001:2015 version puts greater emphasis on leadership engagement over the 2008 version.
